What we did
The James Thomson Group needed to unify its brand presence online. The business commissioned Clockwork to build new websites for Prestonfield House, The Witchery, The Tower Restaurant, and Edinburgh's Best Restaurants.
We started by enhancing their brand, creating a different presence across all four sites. Also, improving visitor engagement was critical for them. We achieved this with our unique Social Brilliance tool, pulling through user-generated content and developing clear event and offer pages.
This refreshing new content enticed visitors to experience the indulgence of the James Thomson Collection through their peers. This, plus clear “book direct” pop ups and price comparison widgets, helped increase direct bookings throughout the group websites.
Other online activities have included powerful email and social media campaigns, with impressive returns and responses. Furthermore, our gift voucher tool was introduced to the websites in 2017, and has already produced vast growth in voucher sales and experiences.
