BROWNSWORD HOTELS

The Brownsword Hotels collection comprises of twelve properties in both city centre and countryside locations. Hotels include Gidleigh Park in Devon, The Slaughters Manor House in the Cotswolds, 900-year old Amberley Castle in West Sussex, The Bath Priory and the ABode Hotels, situated in the heart of Canterbury, Chester, Exeter, Glasgow and Manchester.


We generated a proposal for the rebuild and design of 12 property websites. The key objectives were to generate revenue through room bookings, increase dining reservations, increase engagement, sell gift vouchers and generate enquiries for conference and weddings.

What we did...

With a focus on clear brand messaging, the group website oozes a sophisticated quality and guides the user on a seamless journey. This is achieved through quality screen-wide imagery, a contemporary, classic design and intuitively positioned menus and call to actions.

The user can navigate from the homepage using a menu located in the top right corner, or scroll down to discover categories, newsletter sign up form, social links and links to group hotels.

The ABode property homepages incorporate inspirational photography, showcasing the quality accommodation, dining and event offerings. Rolling banners make the page dynamic and can be easily updated or changed according to season - positioning the hotels as year-round destinations - or to highlight a particular promotion.

Navigation is intuitive and user friendly, with a sticky menu pane and ‘book a room’ call-to-action which follows users as they browse the site.

Scroll down the homepage and you come across an eye-catching banner highlighting events and tempting offers, which can be easily changed to reflect current promotions.

Below, the footer contains images and links to sister hotels and group website and links to social media platforms to encourage further exploration and engagement.
