What we did

The James Thomson Group needed to unify their brand presence online. They commissioned us to build new websites for Prestonfield House, The Witchery, The Tower Restaurant, and Edinburgh's Best Restaurants.

We started by enhancing their brand and creating a consistent presence across all four sites. Then to improve guest engagement, we provided our unique Social Brilliance tool, which pulls through aspirational user-generated lifestyle content. This entices visitors to experience the signature indulgence of the James Thomson collection through their peers. We also included clear event and offer pages.

The above, alongside “book direct” pop ups and price comparison widgets, substantially increased direct bookings throughout their group websites.

Other online activities have included powerful email and social media campaigns, with impressive returns and responses. Furthermore, our gift voucher tool was introduced in 2017 and is fuelling vast growth.
