The new rules relating to data and data privacy are changing with the introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The regulations came into effect on the 25th May 2018.
Every single business will need to take steps to ensure their compliance. The fines are significant for those who do not: up to 4% of turnover, or €20 million – whichever is the higher.
