Donnington Valley’s previous website was developed and designed in-house in 2013. While it was fully functional at the time of development, it did not create a good first impression and wasn’t responsive across mobile devices.
We felt the modern user journey was missing, with no logic behind the process of visits through to conversions and direct bookings; the property had experienced a drop in online reservations.
We started by looking at how we could grow the leisure and conference markets through the website and promote a new, fresher branding to appeal to a younger demographic.
By making the website responsive, more attractive, and improve cross sell messages with clear call to actions, direct bookings have increased.
We look forward to working with the client to understand how website traffic, online bookings and engagement have improved since the site has gone live (February 2018).
